The Placements page in AdBrew provides a comprehensive overview of your campaigns’ performance across different Amazon ad placements, enabling you to analyze, filter, and adjust placement settings quickly and effectively.
Key Metrics Available
The Placements Tab displays various metrics and settings for each campaign, including:
1. Campaign Overview
Campaign Name: Names of all your active campaigns.
Bidding Strategy: The current bidding strategy assigned to each campaign.
Target ACoS: The target Advertising Cost of Sales (ACoS) you have set for each campaign.
2. Placement Adjustments
Top of Search Modifier: Current percentage adjustment for “Top of Search.”
Product Page Modifier: Current percentage adjustment for “Product Page.”
Rest of Search Modifier: Current percentage adjustment for “Rest of Search.”
3. Campaign-Level Performance Metrics
View aggregated performance metrics for a campaign, including spend, sales, orders, CPC, CVR, ACOS, and more, across all placements.
4. Placement Level Performance Metrics
Access specific performance metrics by placement, such as Top of Search (TOS), Product Detail Page (PDP), or Rest of Search (ROS).
Customizing Your View
AdBrew enables you to customize data columns to highlight the metrics most relevant to your analysis. To adjust your view, click on the three-dot icon in the top right corner and select "Edit Column Options."
Filtering the Data
The placement table offers a range of metrics to help you filter data effectively. You can apply filters for campaign-level metrics like spend, sales, and ACOS, as well as placement-specific metrics such as Top of Search, Top of Search Sales, and Top of Search Bid Adjustments.
Change Placement Modifier of Individual Campaign
Locate the campaign you want to modify
Click on the modifier field you want to update
Enter the new percentage value
Press Enter to save changes
Change Placement Modifier Across Multiple Campaigns in Bulk
Filter campaigns based on desired criteria
Select multiple campaigns
Click on the action and choose "U[date Bidding Adjustments"
Enter the new modifier value
Choose the "Copy to all rows" icon if you want to copy the same value across all campaigns.
Click "Submit" to apply changes
Key Use Cases for the Placement Page
Filter campaigns where the Top of Search ACOS is below your target ACOS, and increase their placement modifier.
Filter campaigns where the Top of Search ACOS is 1.5–2 times higher than your target ACOS, and decrease their placement modifier (if applicable).
Apply the same approach for other placements. The goal is to increase visibility on placements that perform well for your brand and reduce visibility on non-converting placements.
