The Dashboard Overview Cards give you a quick summary of how your advertising account is performing. These cards are placed at the top of your Adbrew dashboard and are updated once a day. You can also refresh them manually by clicking the refresh icon on any card.

There are four cards available:

1. Budget Tracker

This card helps you track your monthly advertising budget. It has two sections:

Current vs Planned

  • Current Spend: How much you’ve spent so far this month.

  • Planned Budget: The monthly budget you’ve set in your account.

  • You'll also see a comparison of how much budget you’ve used vs. how many days have passed in the month.

Current vs Projected

  • Projected Spend: An estimate of how much you’ll spend by the end of the month if you continue spending at the same daily average.

  • This is calculated using your average daily spend for the current month so far.

🛠️ To set your monthly budget:

Click on the account icon (top right)Account Manager → Set the value under the "Planned Budget" column.

2. Account Setup & Usage

This card helps you keep track of your overall account configuration and whether you are using key Adbrew features.

It checks for the following:

  • Seller/Vendor account linked

  • Branded ASINs setup

  • Branded Terms tracked

  • Competitor Terms added

  • Share of Voice tracking

  • Available Smart Recommendations

  • Campaigns missing automation

  • Campaigns missing dayparting

  • Use of campaign and product labels

Each of these areas will be marked as complete or incomplete, helping you identify where setup improvements can be made.

3. Automation Usage

This card shows how many of your campaigns are currently being automated.

It checks two levels:

  • Campaign Level Automation: Percentage of active campaigns using automation rules for Budget, Placement, or Dayparting.

  • Ad Group Level Automation: Percentage of active ad groups (within active campaigns) using automation rules for Bids, Targets, or Negatives.

This helps you spot areas where automation can be added to save time and improve performance.

4. Issues & Opportunities

This card shows personalized suggestions to improve your account. These are based on real-time checks of your campaigns and account settings.

You might see insights like:

  • Campaigns with more than 25% gap between current ACOS and target ACOS

  • High-performing campaigns hitting daily budget caps

  • Seller/Vendor account not linked

  • No brand configured for your account

  • Campaigns linked to automation not seeing changes in 30 days

  • High-ACOS campaigns using "up and down" or "fixed" bidding strategies

  • Campaigns missing negative keywords or ASINs

  • Campaigns missing placement settings

  • Smart Recommendations identifying new targets

  • Negative search term suggestions found

  • Products that went out of stock but were driving orders

  • Campaigns with week on week rising ACOS over the past 30 days

Each insight includes a short explanation and a link to take action.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. How often is the data in the dashboard Overview cards updated?
The data in each card is refreshed once every 24 hours. However, you can manually refresh any card by clicking the refresh (🔄) icon in the top-right corner of the card.

2. How is the projected spend calculated?
Projected spend is based on your average daily spend for the current month so far. That average is multiplied by the total number of days in the month to estimate how much you might spend by month-end.

3. Where do I set or update my planned monthly budget?
You can set your planned budget by clicking the account icon in the top-right corner, selecting Account Manager, and entering a value under the “Planned Budget” column.

4. What does it mean if some features in the Account Setup & Usage card show a red icon?
A red icon means that a particular feature or setup step hasn’t been completed yet. You can click on each item to view more details and take the necessary action.

5. Why are some automation indicators only partially filled?
The automation usage indicators show the percentage of active campaigns or ad groups that are currently using automation. If only some are using rules, the indicator will show a partial fill to reflect that.
